The LG 55-inch OLED evo AI C6 4K Smart TV now costs $999.99 on Amazon, marking a $1,000 reduction from its launch price earlier this year. This steep drop brings premium display technology within reach of a broader audience just as major video titles like Grand Theft Auto VI and the Zelda Ocarina of Time remake prepare for release. Larger 65 and 77 inch models are also seeing price reductions, with some retailers adding free controllers or prepaid cards to the offer.

The current wave of discounts follows a trend of seasonal price adjustments. Earlier this fall, Prime Day sales set recent benchmarks for hardware pricing. However, this week's offers exceed those previous lows in several categories. For example, the 41mm LTE Pixel Watch 5 in Satin Pyrite is listed at $399.99, which is $20 less than the recent fall sale price. This represents the lowest recorded cost for that specific configuration.

Foldable smartphone options are seeing their most significant price cuts to date. At Best Buy, the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold in 256GB Obsidian is available in excellent open-box condition for $1,480.99. This price is nearly $420 below the standard list price, offering a lower barrier to entry for consumers considering a switch to Google's latest foldable technology. Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 lineup is also heavily discounted at Best Buy, with open-box units in excellent condition seeing reductions of over $400 for the Graphite model and up to $580 for the 512GB version.

Tablet users can find substantial savings on Lenovo devices. The Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2, which features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, has dropped to an all-time low of $256.49. This price requires a specific promo code at checkout and reflects a 36% reduction from its regular $400 price. The device includes a 12.1-inch 2.5K display and a nine-speaker JBL audio system. A higher-capacity 256GB version is also available on Amazon for $269.99.

Smart home security devices are undergoing significant price reductions as well. Amazon is offering the new Ring 2K smart doorbells for $44.99, a drop of up to 55% from their regular list prices. Both wired and battery-powered versions are available at this rate, which is only five dollars above the lowest price ever recorded for these devices. The Ring Peephole Cam 2K is also discounted to $60, down from its usual $100 price tag.

Streaming hardware and laptops are also part of this week's sales. The new Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K is back at its all-time low of $29.99, representing a 50% discount from its $60 list price. This model features a slimmer design and can run directly from a TV's USB port. Meanwhile, the Lenovo Chromebook Plus is 40% off at Best Buy for $379. This 15.3-inch 2-in-1 device features a touchscreen and runs on an Intel N355 processor.

Charging accessories are included in the current promotions. The Anker Prime 25W 3-in-1 foldable MagSafe charger is available for $99.73. Additionally, the Anker Nano 10-in-1 Smart Display Hub is discounted to $79.99, offering dual-monitor support and a built-in display for port status. These deals provide working families with opportunities to upgrade their home tech setups without straining their budgets.

The next step for shoppers is to monitor these prices closely, as many are at or near all-time lows. The timing aligns with the upcoming holiday season, suggesting that these discounts may serve as a precursor to further reductions or remain stable until year-end. Consumers interested in foldables or large OLED TVs should act quickly, as open-box stock is often limited and varies by location.
