Apple TV subscribers will gain access to six new titles starting in November, including a returning comedy, a heist drama, and a feature film directed by an Academy Award winner. The schedule provides new content for viewers paying the service's $14.99 monthly fee or those using the discounted Apple One bundle.
The month begins on November 4 with the second season of the sports comedy "Stick." Created by Jason Keller, the series stars Owen Wilson as Pryce Cahill, a former professional golfer. Wilson also serves as an executive producer. In this season, Cahill works at an Indiana sporting goods store after his marriage collapses. He bets his future on Santi, a 17-year-old golf prodigy played by Peter Dager. The docuseries "Awkwafina: The Unlikely Cook" follows on November 6. It tracks actor Nora Lum, known as Awkwafina, as she travels to learn cooking from her family of restaurateurs. Her goal is to revive her family's Chinese restaurant.
November 13 serves as the primary release date for the month. The heist drama "12 12 12" premieres with Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan in the leads. Mackie plays a disgraced FBI agent, while Dornan portrays an American career criminal. The plot centers on a raid of a bank vault beneath the streets of Zurich. Each episode alternates between three timelines: the 12 months of planning, the 12 hours of the heist, and the 12 days that follow. The same day, the drama film "Being Heumann" arrives. Directed by Siân Heder, who won an Oscar for "CODA," the film is based on true events from 1977. Ruth Madeley stars as Judy Heumann, a young disabled woman leading a coalition of outsiders. Mark Ruffalo plays the bureaucrat opposing their protest, which becomes the longest occupation of a federal building in American history.
Also debuting on November 13 is the family special "Snoopy Presents: 12 Days of Snoopy." In this story, Snoopy finds himself on Santa's naughty list with 12 days until Christmas. The character attempts to prove he is not a bad beagle while learning about the holiday season. The lineup concludes on November 25 with the action-drama "Way of the Warrior Kid." Jude Hill plays Marc, a bullied middle schooler, while Chris Pratt plays his uncle Jake, a decorated Navy SEAL recovering from an injury. Jake creates a program called "Operation Warrior Kid" to teach Marc about courage. Linda Cardellini plays Marc's mother. The film is based on a bestselling novel by Jocko Willink and directed by McG.
Several current series will also release new episodes during the month. "Brothers," starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, continues through November 4. The British comedy "Small Prophets" also runs through that date. The docuseries "Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars" airs through November 6. The German dark comedy "Where's Wanda?" continues through December 9, and the Liev Schreiber thriller "Nocturne" runs through December 25.
