G2G Protein Bar manufactures fresh, refrigerated protein bars in Utah for customers across the country. The company was founded in 2010 by an entrepreneur who began production in a home kitchen. It has since grown to serve busy families, gyms, universities, and professional athletes.

Coby Child, the wholesale and business development manager, said the brand introduced a fresh option when most protein bars were highly processed. Many competitors rely on synthetic ingredients and preservatives that allow the products to sit on grocery store shelves for long periods. G2G bars contain simple, real ingredients and require refrigeration.

The company remains based in Utah, where it produces its goods. Child stated the business has created jobs and built relationships with other local businesses. The company views itself as expanding as a community entity while maintaining its manufacturing presence in the state.

Child said the goal is to make high-quality food that tastes better than standard protein bars. The company aims to provide a nutritious snack option for people who do not want to sacrifice taste. The bars are available for purchase at G2Gbar.com.

Derek Miller, the host of the Salt Lake Chamber program Speaking on Business, noted the company continues to invest in its home community. Miller said the business supports the state’s economy while bringing a Utah-made product to a nationwide customer base.
