The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21 on Monday night in Philadelphia, ending a two-game losing streak. Quarterback Dak Prescott completed three touchdown passes to secure the result. Running back Javonte Williams finished with a career-high 155 rushing yards. The win moved the Cowboys to a 3-4 record and kept them level with the New York Giants, who hold a 4-2-1 record in the NFC East.

Dallas had dropped its previous two contests, falling to 2-4 before this game. In those two losses, the offense managed only 29 points combined. Prescott threw four interceptions during that span. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer, who serves as the playcaller, faced external pressure after publicly affirming his own coaching abilities during the week. He described himself as an elite playcaller on 105.3 The Fan despite the team's recent struggles.

Schottenheimer engaged in his standard postgame locker room celebration, reviewing key plays with the team. He remained reserved during his media availability. When asked if the team played out of desperation, he stated, "Had nothing to do with desperation. Our guys just played good." He added that he was "great" and "excited" for the players.

Prescott observed a more intense version of his head coach during the week. He noted that Schottenheimer appeared "definitely hungry" and "pissed-off." Prescott said the coach is not naive about the noise surrounding his performance. "We've got his back," Prescott said. "He knows that. He's a guy that takes a lot of pride in his job, a lot of pride in his team."

The offensive line and backfield produced a rare combination against the Eagles. For the first time since 1983, the Cowboys recorded more than 200 yards rushing and more than 200 yards passing in a single game against Philadelphia. Williams carried the ball 25 times for his 155 yards. He scored the final touchdown of the game from the two-yard line with 2 minutes and 21 seconds remaining.

Prescott threw two of his touchdown passes to wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and one to George Pickens. This marked the sixth time in his career that Prescott has thrown at least three touchdowns against the Eagles. The defense allowed the Eagles to score on their opening drive and again on the first possession of the second half. Despite those concessions, the unit intercepted Tanner McKee once, a pick by DeMarvion Overshown. Defensive ends Quinnen Williams and Donovan Ezeiruaku recorded sacks of McKee.

Williams acknowledged the team's imperfections in a postgame statement. "We didn't put together a perfect game," he said. "We've got to learn from it. But it's amazing to get a win." The Cowboys had not won a game in 22 days, with their last victory occurring on October 4 against the Houston Texans.

Schottenheimer said the result returns the team to the divisional race. "I think it gets us right back into the hunt in the NFC East," he said. Prescott emphasized that the team must continue to earn its results. "Nobody's going to give it to us," Prescott said. "That's what's so great about the NFL, so we've got to come out and earn it each and every week."

The Cowboys next play against the Arizona Cardinals, who are 2-5, at AT&T Stadium. Dallas has not won consecutive games since a three-game winning streak in Weeks 11 through 13 of the previous season. ESPN Analytics calculates that the Cowboys now have a 57 percent chance of winning the NFC East.
