Three words defined Ivonne Montero's recent conversation on La Granja VIP: distrust, heartbreak, and uncertainty.
During an interview with host Adal Ramones, the actress chose those terms from a wall of options to frame her personal history. She used the selection to explain recurring themes in her romantic life and her professional habits.
Montero stated that men who approach her are usually younger than she is. She described this age gap as a source of imbalance in past relationships. “Normally the people and men who approach me are younger than me,” she told Ramones.
She noted that this dynamic has become repetitive, making it difficult to find a long-term partner. However, she added that the issue no longer worries her as much as it once did. “At this moment in my life it is no longer something that worries me either,” she said.
The actress linked her tendency to distrust with an introverted personality that she has had since childhood. She explained that silence helps her listen to herself, though she acknowledged that her strong personality can sometimes keep others at a distance. She admitted to having sabotaged herself in the past due to this distrust.
Montero also addressed the uncertainty surrounding her career and her role as a single mother. She said she stays active during periods without acting projects to avoid feeling overwhelmed. This strategy allows her to focus on supporting her daughter's needs.
To maintain stability, she is currently running a spa business. She expressed interest in creating more commercial ventures to ensure financial independence. These efforts serve as a practical method for managing professional gaps while balancing her responsibilities as a provider.
